Vila Real

Tradition & Future

Vila Real is a Portuguese city, capital of the district of Vila Real, located in the Douro sub-region and the old province of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro, with a population of around 30,000 inhabitants.

Owing to the fact that the city is located in a plateau where the rivers Corgo and Cabril meet, the city has many beautiful locations with stunning views.

The distance between the centre of Vila Real and Pinhão is approximately a 50 minute car ride.
