Even on the coldest days, The Vintage House is worth a visit. Head to the Douro, a Demarcated Region and World Heritage Site for two nights of relaxation in the enchanting landscape, still dominated by the old farms and large terraced vineyards.
At Quinta da Roêda, where the splendid Croft Port wines are born, you will have the opportunity to learn about the history of the brand, as well as the production processes of this wine, which is exclusive to the Douro region. Back at The Vintage House and in the comfort of the Library Bar, enjoy some tapas by the fireplace.

Programme includes:

– Two nights’ accommodation in a Room or Suite with panoramic views of the Douro River
– Breakfast served in the breakfast room
– Welcome Port wine per adult, served at check-in
– A Roêda Experience per stay at Quinta da Roêda (transport to the estate not included):
- – Guided tour and tasting accompanied by Croft Pink & Tonic and three Croft Ports: Croft Pink, Croft Reserva, and Croft 10-Year-Old Tawny
– Portuguese tapas served by the fireplace at the Library Bar, per stay
– Bar and Restaurant credit of €25 per room, per stay (food and drinks, except services already included):
- – €25 per stay from November to April (inclusive)
- – €15 per stay from May to October (inclusive)
– One cocktail per stay, served at the Library Bar
– Late check-out until 14:00, subject to availability and confirmation at check-in
– Use of the tennis court, including racquets and balls
– Private outdoor parking, subject to availability
– Wi-Fi

Upon booking a Master Suite:

– Mini bar included
– VIP treatment in the room upon arrival
– Late check-out guaranteed until 2pm

Bookings of more than 9 rooms may be subject to special conditions and additional charges.

Children:

Classic Room: maximum 1 extra bed or 1 cot (up to 1 child)
Junior Suite or Master Suite: maximum 2 extra beds or 2 cots (up to 2 children)
Children aged 3 to 11 inclusive: supplement of €43 per child, per night
Children’s supplements include the services listed in the experience but are not automatically calculated at the time of booking; upon prior request, they will be added to your bill at check-out

Cancellation Policies

January to March and November to December 2026/27:
Cancellations and amendments are free of charge until 18:00 (Lisbon time) on the 7th day prior to arrival
Non-refundable prepayment of the first night will be charged during the 7 days prior to arrival
