  • Museu do Quartzo

  • Museu de Arte Sacra – Tesouro da Catedral

    Treasure of the Cathedral is the name of the museum space housed on the upper floor of the Cathedral of Santa Maria, in Viseu.

    It is possible to observe numerous and valuable pieces of sacred art and religious implements, including vestments, reliquaries, monstrances, sculptures, furniture and books.

  • Sé de Viseu – Catedral

    The clipping of the Torres da Sé is one of the highlights for anyone visiting the city of Viseu.

    This cathedral was built on the site of a primitive temple from the Suevo-Visigothic era, whose structure has recently been revealed by archaeological excavations.

    Its attributes, namely the Mannerist façade and the ribbed vault in the shape of a cross, make this cathedral a must-see for lovers of religious art who visit the city.
